How Do I Prepare for My Pregnancy Ultrasound Scan?
It is good to keep you and your baby hydrated throughout your pregnancy. We recommend drinking plenty of water several days before your sonogram ultrasound appointment. Be sure to eat something sweet such as a healthy snack or fresh fruit one hour before your appointment. A full bladder is required between 8 weeks to 13 weeks.
When is the Best Time for A Pregnancy Ultrasound Scan?
You can schedule your sessions anytime during the pregnancy. We offer 14 different ultrasound services to suit your needs. We can perform an ultrasound scan starting at 8 weeks to term.t If you want to hear your baby’s heartbeat, we can take a peek as early as 8 weeks. Starting at 15 weeks, we can determine the gender. If you are planning on coming in twice for a 3D/4D ultrasound, we recommend the first visit between 18 and 25 weeks and the second visit between 26 and 34 weeks. We offer a variety of 2D, 3D/4D ultrasound, and HD Live ultrasound packages for different stages of pregnancy.
What is the Difference Between a 2D Ultrasound, 3D/4D Ultrasound, and HD Live Ultrasound?
2D ultrasound produces black and white images of your baby. 3D ultrasound captures static, three-dimensional images. 4D ultrasound allows you to see your baby’s movements in real-time. HD Live Ultrasound is the latest ultrasound technology that shows actual skin tone and offers the most realistic images possible. While 3D/4D ultrasound and HD Live ultrasound use the same sound waves as 2D ultrasound, they each use different software to interpret the data and create the images.
My 3D/4D Ultrasound Scan Images Are Not as Clear as My Friend’s Pictures or Website Images. Will You Be Able to Get Beautiful Images of My Baby?
Most of the time the answer is, “yes.” Client satisfaction is our priority, and we will make every effort to capture the very best pictures of your baby. Many factors make a 3D/4D ultrasound successful including hydration, your baby’s position, gestational age, placenta position, amount of amniotic fluid, mother’s physical condition, and maternal body content (the amount of tissue between the ultrasound probe and your baby).
While we strive to provide you with the best possible images of your baby, these and other variables can affect the quality of your pictures. If we are unable to obtain good pictures, we will invite you to come back for a one-time complimentary re-scan. Complimentary re-scans need to be scheduled within two weeks of your original ultrasound scan. Remember, ultrasound works best when there is plentiful fluid around your baby. We ask that you hydrate and drink a good amount of water several days before your appointment.
Can I Bring My Family and Friends?
Most certainly! We welcome your friends and family members. We want you to share your incredible ultrasound experience with your loved ones and friends. We just ask that you please let us know ahead of time how many people are coming with you to your appointment so we can make appropriate accommodations to ensure everyone is comfortable.
How Soon Can We Find Out the Gender of Our Baby?
We can tell your baby’s gender as early as 15 weeks. Due to various circumstances, sometimes gender is unable to be determined. If we are unable to obtain the gender of your baby during your appointment, we will make an appointment to conduct another ultrasound scan free of charge.

Can You Tell Me If Anything with My Baby is Abnormal?

Our ultrasound services give you an opportunity to bond with your baby and are intended for the enjoyment of you and your family.
